Ottery Tin Project

The Ottery Tin Mine, situated in the New England region of NSW, stands as the largest historic hard rock tin producer in the area, having produced approximately 2,700 tonnes of SnO₂ at an average grade of 2%. Hosted within an intrusive porphyry unit and surrounded by broad hydrothermal alteration zones, the mineralisation is found in five principal lodes. The tenement borders the Taronga Tin Project (currently being advanced by First Tin) only 10 km away, enhancing regional development potential.

Modern and historical drilling has confirmed wide, near-surface zones of tin, gold, and silver mineralisation. This positions Ottery as a compelling brownfields target for further development, especially with its proximity to infrastructure and other deposits in the region.

The mineralised zone has been mapped at least 300m in strike length, 30m in width, and extends vertically for over 120m. Notably, sulphide-rich zones with >5% sulphides are common.

Selected High-Grade Drill Intercepts

  • PO-010: 66m @ 0.52% Sn from 27m, including 14m @ 1.52% Sn from 54m

  • PO-010: 24m @ 2.01 g/t Au from 48m, including 3m @ 11.25 g/t Au from 48m

  • PO-014: 30m @ 24.4 g/t Ag from 55m, including 8m @ 49.5 g/t Ag from 67m

  • OPDH-1: 203m @ 0.057% Sn from surface, including 18m @ 0.13% Sn from 27m

  • PO-004: 42m @ 0.35% Sn from 15m

These results demonstrate the mine’s high-grade potential for tin and significant by-product gold and silver.
